😬 True ask anybody that follows celebrities or sports people a simple question on politics or current world affairs theyre clueless. They can recite every minute of some idiotic TV show or all the details of some obscure game.

So it's not just the impression I have had for years, then? Those people live vicariously through their celebrities as well.
