Towards the end of the piece, The Bernician refers to "Ivermectin, the antiviral drug he has previously refused to endorse, after a UK safety study he oversaw in February 2020 concluded that the drug was not safe, following fatal adverse events".

What study was this? Ivermectin was not in focus as early as this and UK only started including ivermectin in trials recently with the PRICIPLE trial, the IVM arm of which was recently suspended, allegedly due to supply issues. Is he referring to the RECOVERY trial that included hydroxychloroquine at toxic doses too late in the disease progression to act as an antiviral? Even this was not concluded as early as indicated.

There is no mechanism, AFAIK, to comment on the article directly but AJ, please pass on this comment to Michael. Thanks.
