During the meeting, His Highness emphasized the necessity of maximum pressure on the Islamic Republic, maximum support for the Iranian people, the full designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization, and an investigation into the regime’s infiltration in the UK. The Shah stated that the era of appeasement is over, and that only a free and democratic Iran can ensure regional peace and stability.
🔹 This meeting is part of a broader diplomatic effort. His Highness had previously met with French Senate and National Assembly officials, urging an end to appeasement and concrete support for the Iranian people.
