ثبت نام وبینار شرکت اینتل برای معرفی بخش FPGA آن که قرار است از اینتل جدا شود و یک شرکت مستقل به نام PSG Altera تشکیل شود. شرکت آلترا سازنده ی تراشه و نرم افزارهای FPGA چند سال قبل به اینتل پیوسته بود :
