Pir Hossein Kolivand, President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), met with Iraqi Health Minister Abdul Hussein al-Moussawi in Baghdad today, reaching an agreement to expand medical and educational cooperation.

Dr. Kolivand stated that the Iranian Red Crescent is prepared to train Iraqi physicians, dispatch Iranian medical teams to Iraq, and establish medical and nursing schools in the country.
