I am profoundly honored by your mention. It was just a tiny observation, but maybe we have a deeper connection, I don't know. As an intent to express my respect, I'll try to draw some conclusions, which you, being a wise man, never expose too obvious in your writings (I might fail):
First of all, we live in a non local universe, where man in his flesh is not the rule but an exception. Floating conscience at a much lesser state of definition is common. Some of these beings are gods, the essence of basic aspects of this world, abstractly known as archetypes. But they are alive and well. They rise out of the highest order, reflected in the hermetic laws, knowing that mind is above matter and that gods and goddesses dwell forever in mutual completion. They can incarnate to rule and order the human world (or to fight their private conflicts), but they don't have to.
Then there are demons. They are driven by very basic needs and desires, unable to dwell in the contemplation of their partner, for there is no one and there will never be. This is a world where matter is above mind, and emptiness and loneliness are the general forms of experience. Unable to incarnate, to experience the flesh of man that can reach out to the divine and even further, Demons tend to simulate such an existence by obsessing sentient beings and consuming their energy. But once in a while they get the chance to turn things upside down (still mirrored in satanic inversion):
The world got under the spell of the señor de las tinieblas, more than a 1.000 years ago, when the selfish desire of three women to give their blood absolute power opened up the gates of hell. Women blessed with the force of Isis, of Freya and Oshun. A power they misused, procreating without the holy union of man and woman, of élella and ellaél (be it by magical or technical means, or by the semen of a handsome servant). Their sons, psychopaths at the liking of the Lord of Darkness, or rather obsessed by him, fulfilled their mother's desire with Machiavellian wit and cabalistic black magic.
To justify and camouflage their reign, they had to rewrite history, inventing different flavors of their mono-theistic or rather mono-demonic religion: christianity, islam, judaism and maybe even buddhism. The further away they could pretend their origin in time and space, the less their lies would be proven as such. So Buddha reached enlightenment in India 700 years before Jesus walked the streets of then far away Palestine, now more than 2.000 years ago, a place where the jews supposedly used to live even longer, and islam became the new and dangerous version of Mr. Darkland's fantasy, designed to keep us blindfold within our five senses. And where religion didn't reach far enough, rationalism shut down remaining capacities.
In the early days the monasteries, with their monopoly on books, were the ministry of disinformation. Five hundred years later, when Gutenberg invented the printing press, it just served to multiply and extend the already well established lies. In the beginning resistance was overwhelming but ceased to exist when the last free men fled to Island and the Cathars in southern France were slaughtered.
Lies and manipulation aside, the Lord of Darkness gave his followers the power to prevail. But there was a deal: In exchange, those bodiless entities demanded to be fed with our orgon, prana and ka, the closest they can get to a body of flesh and blood. More fear, anger and arousal we feel, more of it we produce. So, like cows in a farm, we were locked into a horror cabinet. It's been a long feast, more than a thousand years of orgiastic bloodshed and sorrow, while the gods were declared dead, or abused like Isis who became a holy virgin, or declared evil, like Lucifer or Leviathan.
