Have you ever been surrounded by silence and wondered, “Does anybody really love me?”
Maybe you come home to an empty room. Maybe there is nobody beside you at night. Maybe you see other people with close friendships, families, or relationships, and the loneliness cuts deep...
Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, feeling physically alone does not mean you are unloved.
The desire for companionship is very real. Wanting someone to talk to, sit beside, laugh with, or share life with is not something you need to pretend does not matter. But do not let that emptiness convince you that your life is empty of love.
Romans 8:38-39 KJB says: “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Think about that. There is nothing in this physical or spiritual world that can separate us from God's love!
Your relationship status can't, an empty room, rejection, nor another lonely evening...Nothing. God's love endures for ever Scripture says!
Hebrews 13:5 KJB says: “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
This verse does not mean loneliness will never hurt, but it does means loneliness does not get the final word.
When the room feels too quiet, talk to the LORD. When the pain of being alone comes, Open His Word. When the creeping voices try saying that you are unloved and unwanted, go for a walk and pray.
Do not measure your worth by who is or is not standing beside you right now... Jesus Christ has not abandoned you.
You may still desire companionship, but while you wait, remember this: You are not forgotten. You are not unseen. And you are not unloved. God promised He would NEVER leave you, nor forsake you!
Warrior, an empty space beside you does not mean God has left you. He is with you in the quiet too.
