As a long time FireFox user, I am concerned with decisions made by them recently.. a freemium FireFox would be the end of it. and a half-assed development team for the 'free version' of firefox :/ it has never been a good Idea to have a freemium of anything, they are better of make it payed or keep it free, nothing in between.
Then again, I don't mind supporting FOSS, I would pay for it if the services are good (VPN and storage are expensive duh..). but they should keep the free things free.
I'd be okay with this if, and only if, they keep developing Firefox as it is now and the paid version only after features you don't find in browsers such as the VPN and maybe large file download mediation to get bigger downloads physically closer to you.
I hate that people are calling this a "premium browser version" when it actually seems to be just premium services such as VPN and cloud storage seamlessly integrated into said browser.
