👉Types of Leveling

1. Differential Leveling

Used to determine the difference in elevation between two or more points bymoving the instrument.

2. Profile Leveling

Used along roads, canals, or pipelines to determine ground profile along a fixedline.

3. Fly Leveling

Used for transferring a benchmark when high accuracy is not required.

4. Reciprocal Leveling

Used when leveling across obstacles like rivers to eliminate errors.

5. Trigonometric Leveling

Used when distances are long; elevation is calculated using vertical angles.

6. Barometric Leveling

Uses atmospheric pressure differences; not very accurate.

7. Precise Leveling

High accuracy leveling used for major engineering projects.
