COPA, BTC Core attack me because I am a man, because the flesh and blood is vulnerable, fallible, and, above all, finite.
But what they cannot attack—what no force of deceit, no coalition of mediocrity, and no consortium of power can ever hope to tarnish—is the idea. .
Satoshi Nakamoto, as a concept, stands beyond the reach of their fumbling hands. They can assail my character; they can hurl their accusations and distortions at the man who claims to have written the protocol.
Yet, they dare not engage with the immutable principles laid down—principles that exist independent of any individual.
The brilliance of Satoshi Nakamoto lies not in the identity of its author but in the eternal truth of its creation. Bitcoin is a monument to decentralised integrity, a system whose strength is derived from its fixed, unyielding structure. Its foundations are not built upon the fragile pedestal of human frailty but upon the incorruptible laws of mathematics and logic. COPA, and those like them, are cowards of the highest order. They cannot challenge the truth, so they attack the man. They cannot defy the unalterable protocol, so they invent a villain in me, hoping to distract you from the sanctity of the idea.
Understand this: by focusing on me, they reveal their impotence. Their strategy is not to dismantle the architecture of Bitcoin but to undermine the figure who laid its first stone. They seek to personalise a debate that should remain firmly rooted in objective reality. Their tactics are as old as tyranny itself—divert the masses from principle by offering them a scapegoat. But the idea of Satoshi Nakamoto transcends such feeble machinations. It is a beacon for those who value independence, a rallying cry for those who refuse to bow to the ever-shifting dictates of power.
Impotent, as long as you do not focus on the man that focus on the idea.
COPA’s fixation on me is a testament to their intellectual dishonesty. They are not interested in truth; they are interested in control. By reducing the discourse to a discussion of my identity, they aim to obscure the enduring nature of the protocol—a protocol designed to operate beyond the influence of any one person.
They want you to forget that Bitcoin, as envisioned, requires no leader, no central authority, no figurehead to function. It is self-governing, self-sustaining, and self-validating.
The only way to achieve this is for it to have been set in stone.
Do not allow them to distract you. My identity, my life, my flaws (Ihave many, but not those used against me)—these are irrelevant to the survival of Bitcoin.
What matters is the idea, the system, the unyielding framework that will endure long after I am gone. Satoshi Nakamoto is not a man; it is the embodiment of a principle.
And principles, unlike men, cannot be destroyed by slander or deceit.
