๐Ÿ‘‰Cantilever Beam Analysis

๐ŸšงA cantilever beam is fixed at one end and free at the other. When a point load (P) acts at the free end:

Reaction Force:

Fixed-End Moment:

Shear Force Diagram (SFD): Constant along the beam, .

๐ŸงทBending Moment Diagram (BMD): Triangular, increasing from 0 at the free end to  at the fixed end (maximum bending moment).

Maximum Deflection:

ฮด_max = PLยณ / (3EI)

P = Applied load

L = Beam length

E = Young's modulus

I = Moment of inertia

๐Ÿ’ซKey Point: The maximum bending moment and deflection always occur at the fixed support, making it the most critical section in design.
