Palestinian is a political identity, not a race or ethnic group. These are occupiers of Israel. The Palestinian identity was invented in the late 60s. And it was invented as just a nationality at that, not even as an ethnic group. Because there’s no such thing as a Palestinian ethnicity, let alone a Palestinian ‘bloodline’. There’s nothing unique about Palestinians, from a genetic point of view they are just generic Arabs. Palestinians are no ethnoreligious group like the Jews or the Druze, nor have they been genetically isolated for over 1,400 years like Lebanese Christians to become their own ethnicity. Palestinians have always been proud and vocal about being descendants of Arabian conquerors.

They proudly name themselves after Philistines, who were invaders from Greek Europe who arrived in the lower Levant at the end of the Bronze Age over 3,000 years ago.
Throughout the existence of the League of Nations’ (1919-1945) that had preceded the U.N. – no mention of “the Palestinians” can be found. The players in Palestine in that period were referred to in League documents as “Jews” and “Arabs.” The term “Palestinians,” was simply not in use.
