For the celebration of National Science Day, a webinar is being organized on the topic 'WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT AND SANITATION' during 3-4 pm on 28 Feb 2022. The main speaker of this webinar is Dr. Mahreen Matto, program manager from the National Institute of Urban Affairs, New Delhi. She is going to cover the concept of wastewater treatment through her presentation on 'DECENTRALIZED WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT: A PARADIGM SHIFT TOWARDS CIRCULAR ECONOMY', which is very important for the developing cities of Indian Himalaya. Mr. Shantanu Padhi from the same institute will talk about the Non-sewered sanitation pertaining to Uttarakhand, which can also be useful for other Himalayan states.
