πŸ™ Prayer for Peace in Iran and the Middle East πŸ™

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your mercy in Iran, Israel, and across the Middle East, where war and conflict have brought fear, loss, and devastation to countless lives. (Current violence involving Iran and Israel includes military strikes that have sparked wider regional instability.)

Lord, You are the God of peace β€” the One who calms nations and restrains human anger.
Your Word says, β€œHe makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields with fire.” (Psalm 46:9)
So we pray now for that peace to come in truth and power.

We ask You:

πŸ•Š Bring an immediate end to conflict and violence β€” let ceasefires hold, and let peace talks succeed.
β€œTurn from anger and forsake wrath; do not fret β€” it leads only to evil.” (Psalm 37:8)

πŸ›‘ Protect the innocent and vulnerable β€” especially children, families, the sick, and the displaced.
β€œThe Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him.” (Psalm 28:7)

πŸ’‘ Give wisdom, compassion, and restraint to leaders β€” in Iran, Israel, the U.S., and all nations involved.
β€œIf any of you lacks wisdom, ask God… and it will be given to you.” (James 1:5)

❀️ Heal broken hearts and bring reconciliation between people divided by fear, hate, and distrust.
β€œBlessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

🌍 Let Your peace reign throughout the region β€” where hatred currently grows, let love take root.
β€œFor You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.” (Psalm 86:5)

Lord Jesus, Prince of Peace,
Pour out Your Spirit on all who suffer, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of every person affected by this conflict.
β€œAnd the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)

We pray in Your holy Name,
Amen.
