قسمتی از سخنرانی الن کار، مدیرعامل شورای اسرائیلی آمریکایی و وکیل، سیاستمدار و سفیر سابق ایالات متحده در‌جلسه اخیر اسرائیلی-آمریکایی‌ها.
او در این جلسه که چند روز قبل از حمله جمهوری اسلامی به اسرائیل برگزار شده بود گفت: “ما مشروعیت این رژیم (جمهوری اسلامی) را قبول نمی‌کنیم. ...ما دعا می‌کنیم و امیدواریم که مردم دلیر ایران به زودی حکومتی که در‌خورشان باشند خواهند داشت.”
In addressing HRH Reza Pahlavi, and the audience at the @israeliamerican event, the group’s CEO and former US Envoy to Combat Antisemitism Elan Carr said, “We don’t accept the legitimacy of this regime. …We pray that the brave people of Iran will soon have a government worthy of them.”
