In May 2024, Leeds councillor Mothin Mohammed Ali called his win “a win for the people of Gaza,”
vowed to “raise the voice of Palestine,”
& shouted “Allahu Akbar” in front of a Palestinian flag.
I guess he confused Gaza with his constituency and the Palestinian flag with the Cross of St George!?!
Now Green Party joint deputy leader, he told conference today he is “as English as a Yorkshire cup of tea.” He sounds like he has a split personality.
