Responsibilities
📌 Perform routine servicing, inspections and preventive maintenance of diesel and gas generator systems, including load testing and checks on batteries, fuel systems, cooling systems and control panels.
📌 Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control-system faults, respond to breakdowns, carry out on-site repairs, and assist with the installation, testing and commissioning of new generator systems.
📌 Monitor equipment performance, recommend parts replacements or upgrades, maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and established safety procedures.
Requirements
✔️ Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification, with at least 2 years of relevant experience servicing generators or related electromechanical equipment.
✔️ Strong knowledge of engine systems, electrical circuits and control panels, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
✔️ Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course certification is required, with willingness to provide on-call emergency support.
