Julian Grey’s client is a specialised lighting design consultancy firm delivering creative lighting solutions across a range of architectural projects.
Responsibilities
📌 Develop or support the development of lighting concepts, layouts, fixture schedules and design documentation in line with project requirements and architectural direction.
📌 Research and specify suitable lighting fixtures and control systems, while coordinating design and technical matters with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
📌 Support tender and construction documentation, project schedules and design submissions, and attend meetings, site visits, lighting focusing, testing and commissioning as required.
Requirements
✔️ Diploma in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design or a related discipline, with relevant lighting design experience. Position level will be determined based on experience and capabilities.
✔️ Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with SketchUp, Revit or lighting calculation software would be advantageous.
✔️ A portfolio showcasing relevant lighting design projects is required.
