Iโ€™m not sure why, but this quote got me thinking that no matter how depressingly ugly our current society may seem, no matter how difficult it is to stand up for the truth and to live a good life within it, there have been countless men and women throughout history who managed to do so in the face of far worse. There is always someone who has suffered more for whatโ€™s right than we have or ever will, and who has done so with more nobility, courage and grace. This thought humbles and encourages me a lot.
