Dear Sir/Madam
Please note that we cannot get involved or funding projects that are
started by others, using other technologies, need just financing, or are
half done and need additional funds. We look at renewable energy
projects that we start, own, complete and operate. Also please note that
we have a full plate at this time and future projects will be addressed
if they have attractive and favorable off take agreements.
Regarding other infrastructure projects, we have EPC partners that can
perform the work, but for financing such projects they require
Government Sovereign Guarantee or a major international bank guarantee.
Again, this is possible for projects we start not helping half done
projects or projects that others are involved in or will be performing.
Our financing is possible for our bankable projects only, with our group
ding it and using our technologies. I hope this email clarifies the
condition we can work with, and look forward to working with you on a
project that meets our financing arm requirements.
Basically we need the following for RE project:
1) PPA (range is $0.09 - $0.17 depending what type of RE). We use these
numbers as Africa and other parts have high KW fees to consumer and this
is cheaper in many cases. We will look at each project case by case to
determine if lower PPA is of interest to our funders (eg USA is lower
but risk is very low etc). 20 year.
2) We need feed stock agreement (waste supply agreement).
3) Land which we will lease but at discount market value
4) Permits (all approved permits by Gov).
5) Security where applicable
Our project size requirement 25MW-30MW minimum in size.
We will be the project developer and own 100% of the project for the
term, unless client/partner puts in equity as well. All parties get
small Consulting Commision for successful execution and also if can
provide further service we will bring them in for service contract (eg
waste transport supplier, local EPC, electrical etc).
