That's what I am saying is about OIL especially that Russia's pipelines to Germany and other Northern nations (Nord Stream 2) as well as to Turkey this January (TurkStream), US went and had a meeting with Qatar and asked Qatar to give OIL to Europe to break Russia! The parts of Ukraine where Russia has troupes near the border, I remember these town had demonstrations and wanted to leave Ukraine and stay in Russia as most speak Russian and loyal to Russia (2014 Crimean Status Referendum) but even though they were sort of independent, no country has acknowledged them nor their demands! Don't forget that US had sanctions in place for Russia since 2014, nothing new except today USA had added 14 more sanctions to destroy Russia and isolate it completely! The cold war has never stopped really.
