There is zero reason to go into debt for a wedding. Hubby and I eloped and got married on vacation. We spent the money on US instead of on a wedding and it was WAY less. Totally worth it! (To be fair, we didn't PLAN on getting married on vacation, but I found out I was pregnant and he wanted to just go ahead and marry earlier than we thought hehe.)
That was smart of you! As I mentioned in the video, I’m not trying to criticize people who have big, expensive weddings that genuinely want this and can afford it. But going into debt over a big, expensive wedding due to societal expectations is really harmful and ridiculous.
In this case it comes in handy to be a MGTOW. Although I would've liked to have children. I have to admit that. It's a pity nowadays everything has to be so complicated.
So true! It's sad that it has become a marriage industry 😕😪 great video! Keep it up! Ave! 🙏💕✝️
We married 3 years ago as students and we were glad that it wasnt that long between my prposal and our wedding. The longer you think about it, make plans etc. the worse it gets.

If there is one thing for me to be thankful for covid for, it’s that me and my fiancé were going to start planning our wedding last may for a wedding right around now. Because that got screwed, instead we bought a house. And it will likely be the best financial decision we will make as a couple. Instead of dumping 30k into a day, we put it into our future. Now it’s like “why do a big wedding???”
The biggest problem is the expectation that everyone should have a batchelor party and a bachelorette party. Those are probably the biggest breeding ground for future marriage problems
As a Peruvian, I appreciate the mention at 1:42. We Hispanic Americans are also children of the culture, faith and genetic heritage of Christian Europe that we currently miss and that is still alive here.
