In 2018, “Sayeret Matkal”, a top IOF unit, infiltrated the Gaza Strip to plant spyware in Al-qassam’s communications system. They failed so miserably, and Al-Qassam seized some of Israel’s advanced technology & secrets— rendering Al-Qassam’s already formidable communications system impenetrable.
