More than 1,000 police officers suspended or on restricted duties
There are "undoubtedly hundreds" of staff the Met has "real concerns about", a senior officer tells reporters. Some 275 are awaiting gross misconduct hearings, a significant proportion of which involve alleged violence against women and girls.
