Executive Order 14178: The Blueprint That Could Rocket $BSV to Unseen Heights

Executive Order 14178, titled “Strengthening American Leadership in Digital Financial Technology,” outlines a framework for modernizing the United States’ approach to blockchain and digital asset infrastructure. It emphasizes open, permissionless blockchain networks, fair banking access for digital asset businesses, low-cost and high-throughput settlement systems, on-chain transparency, technology-neutral regulation, tokenization, robust smart contract capability, and the protection of self-custody rights. Translated into technical terms, these goals require massive scalability without central chokepoints, stable and microscopic fees even under global usage, the capacity to store and execute all application logic directly on-chain, true immutability with public auditability, and full support for micropayments, tokenization, and complex smart contracts.

Bitcoin SV (BSV) meets these requirements in ways no other blockchain technology currently can. From a scalability perspective, it has no block size cap. Unlike Bitcoin Core (BTC), which is constrained to 1–4 MB blocks, or Ethereum (ETH), which processes roughly 15–30 transactions per second without relying on Layer 2 systems, BSV’s block size grows in response to demand and is already measured in gigabytes. Teranode, BSV’s enterprise-scale node software, is engineered to reach millions of transactions per second—capacity sufficient for nationwide payment rails, tokenized assets, and real-time settlement of the largest financial markets.

BSV’s fee model is both microscopic and predictable. Live network data shows fees averaging around 0.000005 BSV per transaction, often less than $0.00001. This is achieved through an economic model that rewards miners for processing high transaction volumes rather than charging high fees during periods of congestion. Where Ethereum, Solana, or Bitcoin Core see costs spike when demand rises, BSV’s incentives keep transaction costs negligible even at scale.

BSV also differs in its ability to put everything on-chain. Application code, contracts, logs, and even large data files can be stored directly in the blockchain. This removes the forced reliance on sidechains, IPFS, Arweave, or other off-chain storage methods used by other platforms to compensate for their limited capacity. Historical data is never pruned; BSV maintains a complete, permanent record, fulfilling the role of an immutable business ledger. Its native protocols, such as RUN and STAS, support token creation, transfer, and programmable logic entirely on-chain, allowing micropayments and tokenization to occur at sub-penny cost without unpredictable gas-based pricing. Every transaction, contract execution, and token transfer is publicly verifiable, matching the executive order’s emphasis on transparency and auditability and avoiding the opacity introduced by Layer 2 settlement systems.
