Dr Alaa Al-Najjar, a pediatrician at Al-Tahrir Hospital in Nasser Medical Complex, is the mother of ten children, the eldest of whom is just 12 years old.

She left for work with her husband, Dr. Hamdi Al-Najjar, who dropped her off and returned home. Just minutes later, their home was hit by a rocket of the terror state of Israel.

The only surviving child, Adam, was injured, and her husband, Hamdi, is now in intensive care.
