Life has a way of breaking you, often in ways you don’t expect. It takes you through moments of loss, challenges you never saw coming, and battles you never thought you’d fight. For me, those battles have always been tied to a struggle for understanding—understanding myself, my purpose, and the world around me. From a childhood shaped by my mother's quiet strength, to the endless hours spent in my grandfather’s basement, and through the relentless pursuit of something bigger than myself, this collection reflects that journey.

Autism has given me a perspective that is both a gift and a burden, a way of seeing the world that has often put me at odds with others. Yet, it’s through those cracks in understanding that I’ve found my strength. They don’t make me weaker; they make me who I am—someone unafraid of the edges, of the places where things fall apart.

Many thinks have gone against me.

But I wasn’t broken. Not the way they thought. I was cracked, yes. Shattered.

But those cracks—they didn’t weaken me. They filled me with something different. Like old stone in a riverbed, worn smooth by the current, reshaped by each rush of water.

What once had edges became something else, hardened but somehow softer, shaped by the weight of time and the relentless flow. It wasn’t gold that filled the gaps; it was the grit, the slow polish of endurance, turning what was jagged into something that could survive the flood.
