Chronicles of Quarantine in Budva

The city lives in quarantine as follows:

☕️Closed all cafes and restaurants. There are bakeries and grocery stores. On the waterfront on a sunny weekend, it was always impossible to find a free table, now it’s completely empty, restaurants, taking the opportunity, are making repairs.

All schools and kindergartens were closed, playgrounds were dismantled, swings were removed, playgrounds were banned from March 21, walking on embankments, beaches and in the Old Town is officially forbidden on March 23!

🚙 Intercity bus service stopped, taxi work stopped. You can move in cars provided that there are no more than two adults in the cabin (exceptions for members of the same family).

🛩Air traffic is also terminated, airports are closed. All border points are also closed, only citizens of Montenegro and those who have permission to reside in the country are admitted. All who enter the country are placed in a two-week quarantine, for violation of which a year of imprisonment is supposed.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 And now it’s positive: the local population has no panic. All collectively fulfill the requirements for quarantine measures, there are a lot of masked and gloved people on the streets, most of them are self-insulated in apartments. On the balconies now I see many children who play there.

There are no empty shelves in the stores where 4 people are launching now, because even if people make supplies, this does not happen on some wild scale. Everyone is still welcoming.

🍕All cafes and restaurants are working on delivery. And in the capital, some pizzerias and fast food cafes even deliver food for free to those who need it.

🚑Many well-known people at their own expense buy ventilation machines for hospitals.

👫For schoolchildren, online education begins.

🏡In local Facebook groups, there are many offers of free accommodation in apartments and apartments for those who did not have time to return home before the borders were closed.

🏖In general, unity and the absence of panic are very felt, people believe that everything will end soon and the long-awaited summer will come!🌞
