خرداد ۹۸ در آستانه دهمین سالگرد انتخابات ۸۸ بیانیه ای با امضای ۱۴ فعال سیاسی و مدنی داخل کشور منتشر شد که در آن خواستار استعفای خامنه ای و گذار از جمهوری اسلامی شده بودند. در همین رابطه بیشتر ببینید:

14 political and civil rights activists penned an open letter to Khamenei requesting that he resign from his position after his 20-year tenure. They wrote that the country needs to undergo political change.

10 of this activists arrested during a protest supporting Kamal Jafari Yazdi activist who took part in an open letter calling for the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to resign from his position earlier in June.

Yazdi, who is currently still entangled in a legal battle with the Islamic republic, faces a 13-year sentence for his participation in the open letter.
