Every single DE is better than GNOME. And I'm using GNOME for six month.

There are no other desktop environments, gnome is the most widely used, by a margin which is so large that the other desktops realistically don't exist. If there was a global menu bar I would be using Linux as my main desktop, instead I have to use macOS to get a DE that makes sense.

I was talking about how even if you think there are better DEs, you are both wrong and have a lack of perspective on the situation. Even if there were a better DE, it is not going to receive the same amount of attention that gnome is receiving any time soon. If you want Linux to succeed as a desktop platform, you might as well get behind it and voice your opinion on why you think it is bad.

I got tired of fiddling with bspwm, i3, polybar and so on. Switched to Gnome and it just works. And it looks damn polished with the right theme.
