This is extremely sad. I think social media plays a role in this.

Not only adolescents. Mature people who thought would have a placid and serene retirement find ourselves in the middle of this turmoil and lack of hope
We live in a society that is hell bent on division, hell bent on shaming youth into supporting "the current thing" and hell bent on demonising kids for being straight, white, christian, traditional and conservative. This was bound to happen
If you haven't felt despair for our nation, or the world as a whole, at some point since the start of this plandemic then you have no empathy or soul. Why in the world do people think teens wouldn't feel the same thing, especially those with the maturity and sense to see the mass extermination and tyranny that is happening right now. Most of them are attending public schools and being indoctrinated in evil practices of masking and vaxes, and exposed to evil lifestyles (trans gender confusion nonsense). Imagine spending 8 hours a day with lunatics in a classroom being suffocated by your face muzzle and no way to escape. You'd be depressed and suicidal, too.

Lack of faith in God and immaturity play a great role, l'm sure.
Social media is created to activate the same parts of the brain that addiction does so making it very likely a damaging thing especially to children.

It’s obviously part of the Globalists plan. Adolescents usually spearhead revolutions but this time they are fed lies and propaganda in TV which is the same place that they get their subversive ideas from.
No, it can only be Putin's fault, since Trump isn't in power any more
Joe Rogan on one of his episode before 2020, he had on an expert (I think a PhD) on this topic of that since the exact year thar Facebook had come out, adolescent girl suicides had tripled. The expert himself has a daughter, and he explained what he was doing to raise her. He emphasized that kids should not be on the internet until their older teen years- technology usage in general was fine, but social media/internet was like the toxic effect of glamour magazines but 100 times worse.
Social media, pornography, and parents that train their kids to be little drones by giving them their phone instead of raising them are to blame. Satan has been having his way with the past few generations especially.
I think the nihilism and pointlessness caused by fake science (evolution etc) causes this more.
Not to mention the trans nonsense.
Yes, social media does it--among other things.
Social media, sure! But it’s primarily the content of social media and the psychosis or “cognitive dissonance” that’s systematically promulgated by the major platforms by pushing identity “fluidity”, rewarding nihilism and censoring critical thinking. How can adolescents learn to find fulfillment, meaning and hope in anything within a society inexorably drawn to mass formation psychosis?
Sadly, I am one of them! Trying my best but I always end up in depression and hopelessness. The main thing that is keeping me from going crazy is my belief in God and my family.
