It is time to sum up the past quarter. Despite a decline in investment rounds the quarter was quite intense in Armenian ecosystem. Let's see what happened.
Armenia's Startup Ecosystem Ranking Grew!
According to StartupBlink's Global Startup Ecosystem Index report for 2023, Armenia climbed three spots to the 57th position globally. Yerevan has displayed an upward trajectory, leaping an impressive 23 spots to claim the 221st rank globally. Read more here.
Around $1M worth of investment rounds were announced:
1) Formula VC Invested 200K USD in Wirestock.
2) BANA Angels invested an undisclosed amount of capital in 10Web.
3) Hexact raised over $350K on a crowdfunding platform Start Engine.
4) STAN Angels invested an undisclosed amount of capital in BrandLens.
5) BANA Angels invested $170K in ViralMango.
6) Formula VC invested $250K in 10Web.
7) STAN announced an undisclosed amount of angel investment in Saima.
3 acquisition deals, regional expansion, partnership and product launch announcements:
1) The Crowdfunding Formula acquired Gadget Flow.
2) Intelinair announced its acquisition of Aker Technologies, Inc.
3) FOX 11 Los Angeles filmed a story about Robin the Robot's success story in Los Angeles.
4) Onex announced the launching of its services in Georgia.
5) Instigate signed a contract with microelectronics manufacturer giant Microchip Technology Inc. to sell 100% of its subsidiary Instigate Semiconductor.
6) Scylla announced a partnership between Konica Minolta and Scylla AI around a Visual Gun detection solution.
