It is telling. This is why war mongering elites need to be countered. Whenever we see people talking about how NATO should be involved or that NATO should "close the skies" over Ukraine - shut them down. They want no less than WW3. The Ukraine is neither a part of EU nor NATO. A direct involvement of NATO would be a defacto declaration of war against Russia and its allies. The whole situation isn't as clear-cut as our media elite wants us to believe it is.

The problem with these idiot western warmongers is that they don't understand the concept of 'total war'. That's because the West hasn't fought a 'total war' since Korea in the 1950's. The last that came close was probably the Falklands conflict in 1982.
I bet they all think a conflict with Russia will be like the Iraq war(s) or Afghanistan; low intensity, low casualty. In reality the casualities and loss of equipment would be beyond anything the West could handle. And through cyber warfare Russia could bring the conflict right into our own homes.

There is one thing that is puzzling about the Ukraine. Right up to the war an even afterwards, or even at the present, the situation can be diffused by making concessions to Putin. I am not saying that will be the correct thing to do, but that would have avoided the situation we are in and that is what weak liberal leadership has always done.

Yet they did the polar opposite. They placed Putin in a position where he was forced to act on his threats and they have doubled down ever since with the harshest of sanctions and measures and even calls by US senators for the assassination of Putin.

It is almost as if they wanted to cause fatal wounds to the world financial system and then to deliberately push the price of fossil fuels so high that the middle class can no longer afford to drive a car with a combustion engine and now they are set on triggering world war three.

Financial collapse, fossil fuels none can afford and a world war requiring global emergency powers that translates to absolute tyrannical control plus a general fear-panic among the population concerning deadly nuclear radiation everywhere that will require wearing masks, isolating in place and a general lockdown of society.

Can you perhaps see where I am going with this?
