I agree. I don't see the direct purpose of this.

There are plenty of uses for this, for example, assuming developers support this you will be able to login in and comment with your Telegram account rather than needing to have a facebook/disqus/google account.

Hmm, I see what you are getting at. Not having to use Facebook, but having a possibility to comment on Facebook would be a nice addition to my social toolbox.

I doubt Facebook would allow that, I more meant news sites/blogs that ask you to login with Facebook/google/Twitter etc to leave a comment. There are other uses, that was just the first thing that came to mind for me.

Yes, you're right, Facebook would not allow it. Oh well, something to look forward to, if ever.
