I agree wholeheartedly. As it is good to publicly discuss the hard bits of parenthood as well but personally I miss positive stories. I get bad comments myself when I'm telling about my pregnancy, labor and postpartum because they haven't been "difficult" enough. Maybe it's also about the expectations and accepting how life is. Anyway, motherhood does not suck!
was just watching it. yeah parenthood really gives color to life. I've heard this from many entrepreneurial women as well who were very successful professionally . parenthood, gives a sort of fulfillment to the person that cannot otherwise be found anywhere else .
I grew up in the system, and I feel as if the female role model in the house was of this mindset... At 37 I'm still working through some of the stuff, of course mine are redoubled by stuff from military service.
If I'm ever able to have my own family, I hope I am able to be the father they deserve.
Itβs the promotion of the working woman, the sexualisation of women over men and mass migration at the same time that women just want to fuck and work only.
Yes yes, I know that women still need handbags, shoes, cosmetics, fashionable clothes, holidays and lots of pretty things, but fucking with alpha males has always been their ultimate priority, if possible. Work is just a secondary aim for most women.
As a male, you have a bit more time than females to decide about a family. Also...there is a lot of youngins who don't have parents and definitely need good role models! If the path of being a "traditional" parent or having the traditional family isn't in alignment with you, then there is still a great many ways to take pride in similar roles that the youth desperately need. Perhaps now more than ever.
