In US? Worldwide? In Europe?(:
That is a statistic the consequences of which are going to play out the hard way and for a long long time.
To be fair the cost of having a child is exhibiting. I’d love to have more than one but with the costs of childcare we can’t afford it (and we make a ton of money)

Europeans in the 19th and 18th century had a bunch of children and they were mostly shit poor.
Right but we are in the 21st century. I’d rather have one child raised well than two I can’t provide adequately for
I've been wanting to have children for decades now, but it's only women who can choose to have children. I've been in a good enough place economically to support a family, but too many women have been brainwashed to not be interested in men like me. They only want the bad boys.
That's why European countries are literally dying out. Many women are brainwashed with feminist agenda, career is priority for them. In their late thirties they usually realise they actually would like to become mothers, but that's too late. Yeah, it's expensive to have children, but our ancestors were also poor and used to have many offspring. If we don't change it now white race will become extinct in few centuries.

Why was it higher in the 20s?

Housing and everything has risen so high that you basically need to make $200k+ just to live in middle America
Right abs we don’t make that much abs live in a high of cost area. Day care alone is 2000 a month
Millennials is the worse generation
