This idea can be killed stone dead, by using feminists. If the idea is pushed that if real wombs are not needed then neither are female foetuses as no doubt the gender can be chosen. Not new, in the past century they had done using an algae (agar agar) as utero and nanaged to give birth to complex animals as goat. The algae is a good substitute for the útero, and the process of reproduction is totally independent. The algae serves only in a way to hold the placenta and exchange nutrients and gases. No news here... It can be a good strategy if the humans face extinction.

I've heard that this has already been tried. Do you really think that it was only now that they thought of birth pods? In all the experiments, the fetus died at 20 weeks. There seems to be something where the fetus has to be in the female body or it can't survive. I guess they're working on that now. Sad.
