My dear friend, you know that we have been in agreement on many fronts yet I cannot understand your position (and so many of your friends, be they German, Austrian or whatever) on resisting vaccination, AND masking, AND SOCIAL DISTANCING etc. I agree that the official response has been dreadfully mismanaged but surely the measures themselves are not so burdensome that it calls for the mass rebellion we see here. The economics of lockdown are grim, yes, but can one not be pragmatic and go along with the masks, jabs etc. with all their flaws just so so to avoid lockdown?

Ok, I have listened to your latest post re the long speech of the new Chancellor. You say you know Germans and the 70% are so compliant they will accept the Chancellors "no red line" policy. Well, I am sure you do know your people but I if I know no one else I know myself and I tell you this. I do not see around me signs of great hardship from taking the jab. Yes, the virus is more resilient than we knew thought. Vaccines are not a silver bullet. Yes, the world's super rich are making more obscene profits. And finally, yes, there are young people suffering from side-effects like myocarditis with the resulting harmful scarring. But the far, far greater damage to society is done by the lock--downs and restrictions on every freedom! These are what I will fight anyway I can. I am no blind, compliant follower. I take the jab because it is not the instrument of tyranny you think it is. The iron fist is hoping you will resist so it has an excuse to bring down the hammer of repression and thus consolidate the implementation of its woke agenda. I will die on a different hill than a prick on the arm.
