Gonzalo Lira has been reporting on and live-streaming about the Russian/Ukrainian war since it started. He sadly went missing in Ukraine on Friday. There is no official confirmation yet on what has happened to him. Some are speculating that he has been arrested, or worse.
My personal concern for Gonzalo has nothing to do with politics. I have known him for several years now, since around 2017. I am deeply concerned for his well-being as a friend, and I am praying for his safety.
You know he did a vid during the first day of the war criticizing Russian news outlets for painting him as a pro-Russia, Gonzalo himself stated that he is just a realist and is objective to the circumstances that he is currently in.
Who, the Ukrainian army? Look, I have friends with relatives who are living/lived in the Donbass region. In 2017 Ukrainian forces shot mortars into their village and killed her grandparents on her mother's side. She personally knows people who has been tortured and killed in camps that was run by Azov and other similar fascist groups. If anyone wants to torture and kill people, it's most likely Ukrainian fascists

If Ukraine got ahold of him, he’s dead. I hope he’s in deep hiding. The guy was reporting what he was seeing on the ground, and that was the opposite of the MSM narrative. If you’re anti Russia- do you have an actual understanding of Ukrainian history? Current events leading up to this invasion? Nato expansion? If you are actually informed, you’re probably not surprised by Russia’s advance. Lira is a brilliant man who had a clear understanding of why that conflict started, and the DS/Ukraine can’t have informed people spreading their opinion. They need sheep. Russia bad. Ukraine good.
That is the most likely thing that could have happened to him, because people have been sending him threats for weeks for being a "traitor" or a "Russian agent". I wont make the same mistake that western media made with the "ghost of Keiv", "15 Snake Islands soldiers"or many other unconfirmed rumors that turned out too be false. I'll continue to say unconfirmed rumors until until we know where he is and if he is safe or not, even though there is lots of reason to believe Ukrainian forces are responsible for his disappearance
Your "page" on here is chock full of toxic trolls. Unsubscribing. No, I don't expect or want a response, but maybe you need to get some moderators on here.
What I’m most concerned about are the psychopathic animals in various fascist gangs, Ukrainian armed forces and the SBU.. here’s a report from court proceedings in 2016 of the Tornado battalion, which is a drop in the ocean https://youtu.be/1GPZ7uRwwcE
Zelensky’s regime released their leader along with other members from prison to “fight Russians”, you can imagine what these sort of people could do to someone like Gonzalo
Just because i didn't think it was wise to be Pro-Russian (which i'm not because the country is similar racial powdercake like US is but less gay) in a country invaded by eurasian empire.
In an war Zone everybody is in danger to get hurt or even killed, that’s more likely then anything else. Just because Russia claims that snake island didn’t happen means also nothing then the other claim it did happen! I don’t care about any single events. I only know Russia invaded Ukraine and now people die and Cities get destroyed and will lead to a long suffering of the people. I don’t care if Selensky is in Poland and Putin in an bunker or they are not! It’s war and people die!
1) The surrender of the snake island troops was filmed.
2) You are angry that Russia invaded, but you also don't want any context to know if it is necessary or if Ukraine forced Russia into this conflict by continually threatening to join NATO and by continually shelling Donbass since 2014. You don't want context, you just want to listen to the "screen people" on tv and be angry at Russia
Why is it that you only care now and not 8 years ago when armed gangs took control over maidan with US sponsorship and Eastern Ukrainians were being slaughtered for not wanting to do anything with illegitimate government, is it because the Western news told you that now you should care? The war has been going and people have been dying there since 2014. About the Snake island, you can call Russian claims BS, but they released a video of the POW who was awarded posthumously the hero of Ukraine as one of the 13 dead soldiers, he actually complained about the fabricated story on camera
His politics are most likely why he disappeared. East Europeans don't take too kindly to foreigners (also a "diverse" fella) who knocks up their women, promote sex tourism and treat their country as an open air brothel, and to make matters worse, cheerlead for the invaders. So nothing of value was lost.
I don't know of this man, but I will pray for his safety as a human because he is your friend.
As far as people supporting or not supporting invasions, as far as people supporting/dismissing the concern for the wellbeing of other people, I feel sorry for people who only let their opinions and passions be swayed by every thing that the media says. Media says a lot of big things, and sometimes those things are fact, but a lot of times they are not. I would say that it would be good to contemplate your own character when it comes to judgement of people by the events of governments. He could be wrong in his stance, you could be right or wrong, I will still be concerned about the wellfare of the people.
CRP hat sich leider auf die Seite der Bolschewiken gestellt.
