Personally, I am refraining from giving my two cents on the Russia/Ukraine situation because I am not a geopolitical expert, nor am I fully aware of the complex history between Russia and Ukraine. This is a situation where I am simply not qualified to speak, and I’m not going to pretend to be. There are a lot of people out there sharing blatantly false stories that are only serving to cause damage and heighten tensions. Be careful what sources of media you trust, now more than ever.

Not that I am a Putin supporter, by no means - but truth is, the people of Ukraine are divided. Some have celebrated Russia a few days ago!
You are correct and the reason lies in the Soviet Union under Stalin where there was a deliberate policy of Russification by relocating tens of million of ethnic Russians into all of the former Soviet republics. Thus if Russia invades any other Soviet republic from Georgia to Azerbaijan to Estonia, there will be a substantial number of citizens in those countries welcoming the invaders.

The telling metric is that streams of Ukrainian refugees are making their way to the Polish border and not into the welcoming arms of their Russian liberators.
Yes it’s complex

1 million refugees of mostly mothers and children and you are still confused about this war? I know you are smarter and better than that. You have some sort of bias that's preventing you from seeing things objectively in this situation.

This war is causing misery to millions. It's a catastrophe. And it should stop immediately. But after saying that, one should analyze why all this has happened, who are the people/politicians responsible for this. Problem is, people don't want and don't seek the truth.

I think from where I sit, all I can do is pray for the people involved on both sides of the conflict and pray for their leaders to awaken to the terrible situations they create as they escalate their rhetoric to action...
Agreed, agreed, agreed! So many are praying for the people of Ukraine but many find it controversial to pray for Russia and the leaders of Russia. Not to success in war, but to come to their senses and make better decisions that will encourage more peaceful solutions. Everyone is worth praying for, including Putin. The Lord is good!
You can trust CRP's view and comments on the situation in Ukraine. He reports almost daily and explains everything on details - and there's one thing that's for sure: everything looks much different that the official MSM narrative.
Yes, it's OK. When the Ukrainian leadership--in cahoots with NAZI factions--disarms, murders, detains, imprisons, tortures Russians who live in Ukraine just because they don't like them, then wants to point nuclear missles at Moscow--just because they don't like them... yes, it's perfectly OK to invade and solve these problems with the tool of industrialized violence.

Who thinks Ukraine is a freedom-loving, liberal, kind, gentle, benevolent friend to all her inhabitants--had better stop and think again. The Ukrainian government under Zalensky is stifling, brutal and does not recognize Russians within their borders as human beings.

Russia has no choice but to respond to this hostile New World Order--which is what Russia is really fighting. Thus is USA/NWO vs. Russia--not Russia vs. Ukraine.

Down with the NWO. Go Team Vlad! Death to the pig Zalensky!
