This is exactly what currently occupies my thoughts all the time! ... With this particular example at hand, there is something in the style on the right which besets the spirit, and on the left - there is something in the grandeur and splendor which empowers the spirit!

The right one is the typical modern (communism) building style. Cold and soulles.

The left one is full of useless elements, and that is what makes it subIimely beautiful. I am confident that there are aspects in our life where we must think beyond utility. Otherwise life will end in an aching dead-end emptiness.

And wait until we have teleporters!

Don't forget that no ordinary people ever had what's on the left, it always was and always will be exclusively for the elites so don't fool yourself thinking that somehow it was better in the past.

My house would look more like the one on the right than the left one. 😏
It's just the stairs though.
