This isn't a debate. The word is being used to the dictionary definition of it. This isn't a political issue where we can find a common ground. The Left has made this a zero-sum game, if we do not accept that, then we'll lose by default. The Florida Parent's Rights Bill was actually very moderate, could easily be seen as a middle ground: hold off until after 3rd grade with this stuff, unless it is age-appropriate, and then inform the parents. Not exactly arduous.But to the Left this is anathema, because they will not accept any conditions but total capitulation. If you don't believe me, just ASK THEM.

As far as I'm concerned, something needs to defend the right to question and challenge and criticise. The right have specific communities that have strong bonds, traditions, and ties, and this can insulate against the current insanity. But the right also have issues. No group or people are "flawless". Those who are of sound mind, from an older generation on the left, are able to reiterate times in history when the right supposedly was deliberately sabotaging the left in some major way. I find this part frustrating. I then ask them, who historically began the "left vs right" political groupings, especially since those arent listed in the Constirution? And no one has been able to answer that question. I think knowing how, and why we got here is just as important (at least in prevention) as how do we defend and get ourselves away from the mass insanity.

My friends who are left leaning, I begin to ask them "Why even fight for being left if you hate/despise the existence of the right team so much, why are you even participating in the left/right dynamic? You understand if you play inside that frame work, you are acknowledging the need for the other part?" And then I also start asking other provoking questions, these arent questions that I fully believe in the stance they come from, understand Im playing a "devil's advocate, here when I do it. I ask: "Why are you even voting and supporting a system that requires these teams then, if you dont believe in these teams, why do you participate in it?" "If you dont understand the origins of the system, how do you know its not oppressing others what you are doing?" The point is, anytime Ive askef difficult questions, they are not able to defend their position, their action, at a deeper level. And this has been what I do anytime I see someone getting swept up in superficial social political trends. I simply just ask bigger questions unrelated to the right leanings. I did this when Biden verbalized support for coerced vaccination (mandates, removing travel /entertainment access and privileges unless you get it, etc) I said simply "Well war says, if you dont leave "an out" for your enemy by removing all their options, then by the very nature of it I then have no other option but to 'join' the right in order to protect my physical body from something I was told would be harmful for me by my doctor- that one issue can be the only issue I care about and I would have to rearrange my entire life just on that, but the left gave me no other option" and with that they suddenly realize they have no rebuttle. I mean its really ridiculous to become suddenly what I was describing as "a medically supremacist society" if we dont care about the rights of those who were told by their oncologist "you dont matter, you cant go do amything, sorry". It was incredibly disgusting.
