Elderly woman plays the piano amidst the wreckage following the Beirut explosion. If you’re willing, spare a prayer for those who lost their lives or who were negatively affected. Last I read, the death count was 100 and the injured 4000.
She plays beautifully. She survived one of the biggest explosions ever, probably by sheer luck, but wears a mask against a virus that would fit through that mask like water fits through a coffee filter. I don't know what to think anymore. Sometimes the details of the things that happen in this world make my mind go blank.
Get an e-cig, inhale, then exhale the vapour both through a mask and into open air. It reduces the passage of moisture droplets, which is where most of the viral load resides. I know it looks dumb, but if it saves just one life, nobody got hurt for it. Tell me why I'm wrong
It's highly controversial if masks help, but in my opinion, if there is at least a small possibility that they could help to prevent spreading the virus we should use them. Not all day but for example to go shopping. It's no danger for your health if you only wear them for a short period.
I don't want to ruin Brittany's post with a discussion about the virus. Let me just add that they just made masks mandatory in schools in Germany, starting from the age of ten. Children have to wear them all the time during lessons. Can anyone even imagine the psychological impact of that, let alone the health consequences of restricted breathing for half a day, each day?

I wonder how many people can hear her, with that massive explosion many will be deaf.
