I'm not American, but seeing this from afar is sad, like seeing an old forest burn. When I look at America I see one deeply unhappy country or three happy countries. It didn't happen by accident. The good and valuable aspects of America have been under assault for at least as long as I've been alive and I simply don't see a path forward where unity can be achieved. Doesn't mean it's impossible but I for one don't see it.

Not really. Masses have allowed it since at least the 1953 Immigration Act, actively voted for such policies and politicians in every state and federal election,including for such republicans. The will of the people supports this

Many dozens of nations invaded, countless puppet governments and coups in other nations, theft of their resources in mass, occupying sovereign nations. American imperialism has been a plague and Trump only continued it with funding saudis in mass to cause biggest human genocide in recent decades ,in Yemen , directly by his funding, and did not pull out all troops from all occupied nations within a year in 2017.
