I'm having a completely different experience. Most of the people I know woke up to this when the lockdowns started 2 years ago and the government was freezing the assets of businesses who refused to enforce wearing masks and social distancing.
People have been telling me to invest in cryptocurrency since 2016 . . . long before Covid came along.
You are in an echo chamber. Nobody cares about your anecdotes. Fact is that nearly nobody ignores the rules. Everyone,especialky here in Europe, does all that is required to work and go to places, to live and be part of society

Then you should get your hearing checked. I enjoy my life. I would not enjoy it if I could not go to work or use services i love and places I love. Life with restrictions the unvaxxed have are empty lives with nothing to do and in many cases unable to even work in many nations

Totally agree. That's exactly why we should use cash preferably and not to keep money in the bank. I know paying by card is more comfortable, but our laziness leads us to slavery.

This is just the beginning in my opinion. Governments and corporations will continue this behaviour as long as their influence remains. They have already shown great indifference to what people think which means we are already approaching a stage of forceful control. History will inevitably repeat itself the only difference being the addition of 21st century technology.

Card payments have lead to super easy life, not slavery. And cash is soon not going to be accepted by compsnies or anyone,restaurants etc. This was a plan for 30+ years already. About time ,beyond time we get rid of it
Technology literally has saved countless lives and made it wonderful. Go live in a cave then ,bub. Automation is the future, A.I controlled robotics doing 90% of all jobs, and all of manual labor, within 30 years from now. It is exponentially growing. Great times to be alive.
We get rid of it, only if people stop using the cash. If we will use it, there will always be pressure on preserving cash. Instead of giving up, we should start educating others about its importance.
You want redundancy? Thefe is no logical nor beneficial thing about manual cash. People lose it, one can steal it easily, break it etc. You can call the bank or just do it online to cancel your card before anyone can hack your pin number. Super! You are like a caveman, no logic
Haha, OK 😂 The last time I lost cash was when I was a child. I keep an eye on my purse, so no one can steal it. I also keep my cash in the safe area at my home, where only I have access. Never ever happened that my money were stolen from me because I'm careful and responsible. That's what adults should be. If you're so stupid that you can't manipulate with cash, it's okay. Keep it in the bank. Pay only by a card, if it's too challenging for you to count money. But don't force others to do the same.
