This video is very biased. The Maidan was against pro-russian president. Surprisingly, that president is one of the main stars himself in the movie. Very likely it's even funded by him and/or russian government.

TLDR; the president didn't want to sign EU association, but people wanted the association to be signed.

That president decided not to sign EU association at the very latest moment when all the documents were ready. People didn't like it and went to protest. However, police was violently beating protestors, including students, which eventually ended up with casualties and the president fleeing from the country.

And as he stated in the interview, he has absolutely nothing to gain ftom staging these riots. The other side however, has everything to gain.

Actually incorrectly. The killing of protesters (and policemen - who no one talks about) let to the president fleeing the country. And with good reason, since there surely would have been an attempt on his life. And you can argue the people of the UK didn't want Brexit - despite the majority voting for it. Then these same people rioted and stormed government buildings because they didn't get their way.

Ukraine from 1932 to 1933 that killed millions of Ukrainians, organised by the Communists of Stalin. Strange did I miss this in the beginning?
Because this is one of the main reasons why the Ukrainins collaborated with the Nazi's. This video seems "to forget " quit a lot of what has happened.
