This is interesting. FOSS, decentralized. Looks very nice so far. APK also available. F-Droid is needed too with built-from-source.
"uses block chain" of course it does. It's the hype of the century. If it uses blockchain it must be great

Well, not using a central server, that is closed-source is way better than giving you open-source client but keeping the server side centralized an closed-source. No?
Anyone who wants to give it a quick test - text me: 05f4ab4970c89729db02c80fb4dc916b88deebbd494f0fbb708bcaad8c09f43d0a

You could just p2p and throw some encryption ontop.
Well, it is not as easy as you think it is. Milli-device support with encryption is not so easy. Decentralized, blockchain approach, where your account is associated to your key seems to be the best solution.

And how do you think people are supposed to discover each other? You still need some kind of centralized server. So p2p still needs a central connection point and routing otherwise people need to know each others IP and ports, etc. No offense but your suggestion is naive.

Yeah I'm nowhere neer an expert. I just read blockchain. And think "Another hope product"
But I'll try it maybe someday in the near future. It does sound interesting

Blockchain is THE only way to have a true decentralization and privacy (well, 99.999% of it). For any other type you need centralized server(s).
Eddie
You got me there.
Nah, I did not. It is good to have people who are interested. So yeah. This chat is interesting.
