I have to agree with Cassandra Fairbanks. Chauvin is basically a political prisoner. I don't particularly like cops, but if I was a police officer who had the means to quit and find a new career path I would do so immediately.

I believe it's time to let the weapons speak. At this point I am actually only waiting for civil war to erupt. Perhaps a civil war is even necessary. It could have a cleansing effect in the long run. Americans should get over and done with it.

I watched the defence case being summed up live last night. There is no way he is guilty beyond reasonable doubt but I'm guessing the jury are scared of the consequences or just emotional communists

Yeah the jury were between a rock and a hard place. Regardless of what they actually thought they knew there would be rioting if they didn't get convictions. This will all drag out further with an 8 week wait for sentencing and the ride through the appeals court.

No not really, there are protections in place. The fact that there was only one white male on the jury could have something to do with it.
