Maybe I’m in the minority, but if this technology doesn’t harm another life, and creates a life for stable couple, then I think this is not a negative. A bit post-human in concept but why not? I’m open to being convinced though
Eugenics is already a thing for decades. Cloning of humans perfected and done since early 1960s. Jimmy Carter is a clone for ex, original was killed in 1977. Reagan was killed in 1981, he didnt survive that shot. Eugenics is good if not forced on anyone without their consent( parents in this case)
Gays are not stable couples in 99.999% of cases statistically. Also kids raised by gay couples are 12-14 times more likely to become fully gay too. Proven studies and statistics on this. Do your research
Playing God doesn't end well. Figuring out a way around the natural order may be possible, but think about what they would be creating. A human with two fathers. Do scientists have the right to take away a child's earliest experiences with its mother? Every other human has that. It's theft or abuse never before possible.
I believe, if we are to be staunch supporters that creating life is the paramount achievement in life (which I do believe), then we must not necessarily automatically discredit the creation of more life. Even by unconventional means.

Having slept on it, i imagine they will still need an ovulating female for their process to work. Science may be able to start the cellular process, but they haven't developed a system that can replace a placenta.. Entering alien territory here!
While IVF programs, and surrogate mothers are 1 thing, it will be something altogether different carrying a product of science to term. I wonder, does the surrogate in this case even need to be human.. Just how far will boundaries be pushed in this dangerous frontier?
