You're reading a lot into my comment that isn't there. Detaching childbirth from the womb of the mother has a million negative implications with very few payoffs. I don't think giving gay men a chance to have a baby that looks like both of them is a good enough reason to twist nature like this. It's also a very superficial reason. If scientists could take a male skin cell and transfer that DNA to an egg, why couldn't they take a female skin cell and transfer that DNA to a sperm, thereby making men unneeded in the reproductive process as well? Women have no Y In the chromosome though, hence you can never create any sperm from female DNA. This is lego blocks simplicity, hope that answers it. Men got both parts of the equation in their genetics, women do not.
